Two layers of coverage: our lifetime labor warranty for the original owner on the installation, and the manufacturer's warranty on the product itself.
Lifetime
Our labor warranty
Every window and door we install includes a lifetime labor warranty for the original owner on the installation work.
The lifetime labor warranty covers you, the original owner. It doesn't pass to a new owner if you sell.
Roofs are separate: a roof replacement carries a 10-year labor warranty, and flat roofs 5–10 years.

Manufacturer warranties
Glass, frames, hardware and finishes are covered by the company that made them. Which one applies depends on the product in your quote. These are short summaries; the PDF is the full, binding text.
PGT
Replacement Product Limited Warranty (effective September 1, 2026)
PGT windows and doors installed into an existing home, against conditions caused by PGT's manufacturing or materials.

Per PGT's document, other owners, including later owners and rentals, get a 10-year limited warranty. PGT covers skilled labor or shipping on claims made within 2 years of delivery in its service territory, which includes Florida.

Aluminum Frame Window & Door Limited Warranty
Custom Window Systems aluminum windows and doors bought on or after September 30, 2024, against defects in materials or workmanship.

Lifetime vinyl coverage is for the original owner. Per ES's document, if the home is sold the rest of the standard warranty applies. Register within 90 days of delivery, or coverage defaults to ES's standard 10-year warranty. Parts only, no labor.

Eco notes that terms are set for each project. In homes, it covers the original purchaser only. It requires washing at least every six months with proof of service. Labor and delivery aren't covered.

If something goes wrong
How to make a claim
Call us first at 754-800-4115. We handle installation issues, and we help you file with the manufacturer. Several of these warranties go through the dealer. Each manufacturer sets its own deadline:
- PGT: Within 30 days of finding the problem, through your dealer, or with PGT directly if the dealer can't be reached.
- Custom Window Systems: Within the warranty period and within 1 year of finding the defect, by phone or in writing to Custom Window Systems customer service.
- ES Windows: In writing within 90 days of finding the defect, by email to ES customer service, with photos.
- Eco Window Systems: In writing within 90 days of finding the defect, with your bill of sale.
- BHI Doors: In writing within 30 days of finding the defect, through the dealer, with proof of purchase and photos.
Keep your invoice and take photos of the problem. Most claims ask for both.
