Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Republic Windows, Doors & Roofing (“Republic,” “we,” “us”) collects through republicwindow.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Read it with our Terms & Conditions.

We never sell your information.

Information we collect

Depending on how you reach us, we collect:

Name, phone number, and email address
Street address, and the city or county of the project
Project details you provide, such as openings, roof type, timing, and notes
Photos you send us, or photos of the work. Marketing photos of completed work do not include your name, face, or street number unless you agree in writing. See Photos of our work in the Terms
Device and usage data, such as browser type, pages viewed, the time of a visit, and a general location derived from an IP address
Cookie and analytics data, described below, including cookies set by Google Maps and, when analytics is on, Google Analytics
Records of calls, texts, and emails. Calls may be recorded for quality and training. Florida requires all-party consent. If recording is on, we say so at the start of the call. Staying on the line is your consent to the recording

We collect this when you submit a form, call, text, or email us, use the site, or meet with us about an estimate or a job.

How we use it

We do not sell personal information

We do not sell personal information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not sell your name, address, email, phone number, or project details.

Text messages

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information, including mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

We use your number only for the messages described in the Terms: estimates, appointments, service, and marketing when you have given prior express written consent. Reply STOP to opt out. You can also send a written opt-out to support@republicwindow.com.

We share personal information only in these situations:

Service providers working for us, such as a CRM or a scheduling tool, and only so they can perform that service
Financing partners, when you ask us to submit a financing request
Permit offices, when a job needs a permit
Insurers, professional advisors, or a successor to the business, when that is needed to operate or to complete a job
When a law, a subpoena, or a government request requires it, or when we must protect rights, safety, or property

A service provider may use the information only to do the work we hired it to do. Sharing a financing request at your direction is not permission for that company to use your mobile number or SMS consent for its own marketing.

Financing information

Republic is not a lender. If you ask us to start a financing request, we collect the information the lender needs and we share it with that lender and with service providers who process the request for us.

When that information is covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, we use and disclose it only as that law allows: to complete the application you asked for, to protect against fraud, and as the law requires. We do not sell financing information, and we do not use it to market unrelated products.

Cookies, Maps, and analytics

The site stores cookies or similar files so a page can function. Google Maps is embedded on the site, including a map of our office, and an address field may use Google Places. Those Google services may set their own cookies and receive your IP address under Google’s privacy policy. We do not control Google’s cookies.

We may use Google Analytics. When it is on, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives usage data such as pages viewed, device type, a client identifier, and approximate location. We use that information to understand how the site is used. We do not sell it.

How to opt out of analytics

You can limit or stop analytics cookies in any of these ways:

Install Google’s opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Block or delete cookies in your browser, including third-party cookies. Blocking cookies may limit a map or another feature
Use your browser’s private or tracking-prevention setting

Opting out of analytics does not opt you out of calls or texts. Use STOP or email support@republicwindow.com for that.

Security and breach notice

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that email, texts, or storage on the site will never be accessed by someone without permission. Do not email full payment-card numbers or bank account numbers.

If we determine that a breach of security has occurred under Fla. Stat. § 501.171, we will notify affected Florida residents as that statute requires: without unreasonable delay, and no later than 30 days after we determine the breach happened, unless a law-enforcement delay applies. When the statute requires it, we will also notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs. Notice will describe what happened and what you can do, to the extent the statute requires those details.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests, contracts, permits, photos, and messages for as long as we need them to do the work, stand behind a warranty, and meet Florida tax, licensing, and other retention rules. When we no longer need information, and the law does not require us to keep it, we delete it or de-identify it.

Children under 13

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email support@republicwindow.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

Text messages: reply STOP to opt out, or email support@republicwindow.com. Reply HELP for help. If we reached a wrong or reassigned number, tell us.
Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in the email, or email support@republicwindow.com and ask us to stop.
Access, correction, or deletion: email support@republicwindow.com and tell us what you want. We will verify the request and respond as the law requires. We may keep records that a contract, a warranty, a permit, or another legal duty requires us to keep.
Analytics cookies: use the opt-out steps above.

Florida Digital Bill of Rights

The Florida Digital Bill of Rights, Fla. Stat. § 501.701 and following, applies to controllers that meet the statute’s revenue and processing thresholds. Those thresholds are high. If they apply to Republic, we will honor the access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights the statute gives.

Whether or not the statute applies today, we do not sell personal information, and we do not process personal information for targeted advertising by other companies. To make a request, email support@republicwindow.com.

California and other states

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a consumer privacy law, and that law applies to us, you may email support@republicwindow.com to request access, correction, or deletion, or to appeal a decision we made on a request. We will verify the request, respond in the time that law requires, and will not discriminate against you for asking.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your state gives a right to opt out of sale or that kind of sharing, there is no sale or sharing of that kind to opt out of. If you want written confirmation, email us.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track or a similar opt-out signal. There is no single rule for how every site must respond. This site does not currently change its own behavior based on a Do Not Track signal. Browser cookie controls, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the email choices above still work.

International users

This website is operated from Florida, in the United States, for customers in our Florida service area. If you use the site from another country, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from the laws where you live. We do not direct the site at residents of other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting the new version on this page and changing the effective date. The date at the top of the page is the version in effect.
